Nonprofit organizations that are selected to receive grants by
the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children must meet the following criteria:
The agency has 501(c)3 status from the IRS
The agency demonstrates Bright Horizons employee volunteerism
Priority will be given to agencies that serve a Bright Horizons community
where a Bright Horizons child care center or school is located.
The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children generally does not fund the following:
Gifts to individuals
Colleges or universities
Religious organizations, except when the program sponsored by the
organization is non-sectarian
Advertising for any purpose
Multi-year commitments
Fundraising and/or testimonial events, including tickets, silent
auctions, dinners, raffles, etc.
Athletic teams, tournaments, or events
